Define the repair or surface requirement

Laser cladding and plasma transferred arc processes are used in surface engineering and component repair. Start by describing the substrate, intended deposit, working conditions and the dimensional constraints of the component. WOCO supplies material options for these application discussions.

Check the feedstock, not only the alloy name

Review composition, particle-size range, morphology and the supplied product form. Nickel-based alloys and tungsten-carbide composite materials serve different requirements. A commercial grade name or comparison code alone is not proof of suitability for a particular process.

Build a clear supply request

Provide the required composition or existing grade, process, quantity and drawing when applicable. Our team can confirm available specifications, packaging, current listing-price conditions and the technical files associated with the selected material. Final processing conditions and qualification remain specific to the application.
